About this course
Take a quick tour through the brain and nervous system. I say quick, because we’ll only be scratching the surface of everything there is to know about the anatomy of the nervous system, but it will give you what you need to know about how neurons speak to each other, how the brain is divided, and how the nervous system is organized. This is an important course because it is the basis for understanding all brain function.

In this lesson, you'll learn how neurons are organized in the brain into grey matter and white matter, and how the brain is organized into two hemispheres and four lobes.
In this lesson, you'll learn how the nervous system is organized into the central and peripheral nervous systems, what they are responsible for, and how the brain communicates with the body.
